Miller Thomson Vancouver to move to newly redeveloped Pacific Centre

20 janvier 2014 | Vancouver

Miller Thomson LLP, a leading Canadian business law and litigation firm whose roots in Vancouver go back more than 60 years, has just become the first office tenant to sign a lease at 725 Granville St, Vancouver. The building is located in Vancouver’s downtown core and will house Nordstrom as the signature retail tenant.

In a dramatic redesign of an iconic department store at the intersection of Granville and Robson Streets, the building is a unique and unconventional space for commercial tenants. Miller Thomson will occupy one floor with 48,000 square feet of office space out of a 70,000 sq ft floor plate – the largest in the city for commercial space. The building’s 17 foot high ceilings and 12 foot tall windows will allow for expansive natural lighting and a unique sense of openness. The space will create a distinctive, creative and collaborative environment for Miller Thomson which reflects the firm’s dynamic approach to servicing its clients. The move will also locate Miller Thomson in the hub of the City, at the cross roads of the Supreme, provincial and federal court houses, the business core, the arts districts, and the main retail corridor.

Speaking on behalf of the partners, Owen Pawson, managing partner of Miller Thomson Vancouver, says that the space has everyone excited and energised, and looking forward to the office becoming a model of innovative design.

It is expected that the firm will move in April 2017.
