Gerald Chipeur provides opinion before Senate Committee on constitutionality of Bill C-14

On June 6, 2016, Gerald Chipeur, QC was called to testify before the Senate Committee studying Bill C-14. The Globe and Mail reported that in his testimony he expressed the opinion that Bill C-14, a bill creating safeguards to protect individuals in the process of securing medical assistance in death, was constitutional and would be upheld by the Supreme Court of Canada.
