The Law Society of Upper Canada will be hosting the 4th Annual In-house Counsel Summit on 26 February 2014.
This annual summit reviews pressing legal and ethical issues and is an opportunity for in-house counsel to further develop and enhance their professional skills and legal knowledge. Topics covered during the 2014 summit include negotiating strategies, information management and security challenges.
Jeffrey Carhart, C.S., Partner from Miller Thomson’s Toronto office, will be speaking on the topic « Protecting your firm from a business partner bankruptcy » together with Brian Swartz, General Counsel, Aecon Group Inc.
It is a must for those with operating business partnerships. The session will commence at 3.20pm and will be broadcast as a live webcast to members of the Law Society of Upper Canada.
