Aperçu
Taury Barfoot assists with the preparation of estate planning documents, applications for certificates of appointment, and other court documents for estate-related applications. She understands how emotionally challenging estate administration can be, and takes an empathetic and professional approach to client interactions.
Taury has had to adapt to the various changes and challenges that have arose during the COVID-19 pandemic with the execution of wills and affidavits and has demonstrated adaptability and an eagerness to learn in an evolving area of law.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Taury started as a legal assistant, assisting multiple lawyers in a variety of areas. When the senior Estates Clerk retired on short notice, Taury eagerly accepted the new position. She quickly learned and adapted in her new role, realizing her interest in estate-related matters.
