Heather Walker is a Litigation Law Clerk for the Insurance Defence Lawyers in the Waterloo office of Miller Thomson LLP. She assists multiple lawyers, handling various aspects of civil litigation, personal injury and insurance defence files. Heather has extensive knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure. Her various duties as a Litigation Law Clerk include file organization; preparing pleadings, motion materials and Affidavits of Documents; reviewing transcripts and maintaining Undertakings; and assisting in Trial preparation. She also retains experts and investigators and prepares medical reviews and summaries. Heather has excellent time management and organizational skills. She is a self-starter who takes initiative in every opportunity that is afforded to her.
