Celine Lim is a Real Estate Paralegal in the Calgary office of Miller Thomson LLP. After moving to Calgary in 2007, Celine worked as a Real Estate Legal Assistant, eventually becoming a paralegal after a couple of years.
Originally from Mauritius Island, where real estate is governed by Code Napoléon, the French civil code established under Napoléon I in 1804, she started her career as a Notary Clerk.
Celine has more than 10 years of experience as a Real Estate paraprofessional in Calgary. She has extensive experience in residential real estate conveyancing and knowledge of land titles. She has gained particular experience in both residential and commercial new condominium projects, as well as sale of residential subdivisions lots. She can work independently or as part of a team.
Her experience includes assisting with due diligence searches for residential, commercial and financing transactions, setups of condominium corporations for multiple developers and conveying and closing of the following:
- Residential and commercial real estate transactions
- 7 new residential condominium projects, 1 of them being 30-storey residential condominium tower with 225 units
- 3 new commercial condominium projects, 1 of them consisting of 500 units
- Several residential subdivisions with 114 lots per phase for the developer
