Amanda Robertson is a member of Miller Thomson’s financial services and business law groups. She works with other team members to ensure that clients’ transactions and corporate finance matters are handled efficiently and effectively. Amanda has experience assisting Canadian and international banks, financial institutions, non-bank lenders, private equity firms and corporate borrowers on all aspects of corporate lending, including syndicated and bilateral transactions, acquisition financing, asset-based lending, real estate financing, wholesale automotive financing, financing of day-to-day operations, and domestic and cross-border transactions in a variety of industries.

Amanda first joined Miller Thomson as a Summer Student in 2018 and returned as an Articling Student in 2020.

Prior to joining the firm, Amanda obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (with distinction), majoring in Finance, from the University of Calgary. Amanda has experience working with the in-house counsel team at a Schedule I Bank and in the finance division of a Calgary oil and gas company. This experience has ensured she has a client-focused practice that is rooted in understanding her clients’ needs.
