Aperçu

Tiana completed her law degree at the University of Windsor. She returns to Miller Thomson as an articling student after summering at the firm.

During law school, Tiana was a member of Pro Bono Students Canada’s Youth ID Clinic where she assisted homeless and marginally housed youth in gaining photo identification and birth certificates. She also supported the 1L students’ transition into law school as a Social Orientation member, AskLaw member, and peer mentor. In her 1L summer, Tiana worked as a research assistant. Here, she expanded her knowledge and research skills around tort liability claims against multinational corporations.

Prior to law school, Tiana was a legal intern for a boutique law firm where she drafted legal documents and conducted research in different practice areas including tax law, corporate law, landlord and tenant board matters, and civil litigation.

Tiana received her Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Public Policy at the University of Guelph, and was a member of the university’s Pre-Law Society.

In her free time, Tiana enjoys cooking, painting natural landscapes, and fitness activities such as hiking and yoga.
