Sarah has completed her second year of the J.D. program at Western University. Prior to law school, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University.
At law school, Sarah was a caseworker for the Community Legal Services Clinic. As a caseworker, she had carriage of several files, and appeared before the Small Claims Court on contested motions. Sarah also participated in the Wilson Moot during her second year.
Last summer, Sarah worked as an intern at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. In this role, Sarah reviewed insolvency legislation and drafted recommendations for country stakeholders based on international best practices. Prior to law school, Sarah gained professional experience in the financial services industry while working for Schedule I Banks.
Sarah actively seeks out volunteer opportunities in the communities she is a part of. Currently, she is a Student Ambassador at Western Law. During her first-year summer, Sarah was a dining room volunteer at So Others Might Eat in Washington, D.C. In the past, she has also been a campaign volunteer for 5 Days for the Homeless.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading and musical theatre. Sarah has been an avid tennis player since age three, and also participates in team sports including dodgeball and softball.
