Patrick recently graduated from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law and holds a BSc from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to working at Miller Thomson, Patrick was a summer student at an insurance defence boutique law firm.
During his undergraduate studies, Patrick volunteered at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic and spent his summers working various labour jobs across the manufacturing sector.
As a law student, Patrick was an active member of the University of Ottawa legal community. He competed in two sports-related moot competitions, representing the University of Ottawa at the Tulane National Baseball Arbitration Competition in New Orleans and the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada in Toronto. He also volunteered at Reach Canada, an organization dedicated to helping persons with disabilities. As a student volunteer at Reach, Patrick communicated with prospective clients requiring legal assistance and referred them to appropriate legal professionals or community support programs. In his final year of study, Patrick was part of a law student group that organized a successful volleyball tournament to raise money for the Ottawa Mission. The Mission provides shelter, food, clothing, and life-changing programs to the less fortunate and homeless.
Patrick is a sports fanatic and in his spare time he enjoys spending time outdoors and playing volleyball and baseball.
