Kristin is currently completing her J.D. at Western Law. Prior to attending law school she received her Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University, graduating summa cum laude.
This past year Kristin worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Richard H. McLaren, O.C. conducting research in the areas of sports law, dispute resolution, anti-corruption, and commercial law. Kristin is also an active member within the Western Law community. Notably, she is a Student Ambassador and an intern with the Dispute Resolution Centre. She has assisted members of the London community by mediating disputes and facilitating conflict resolution workshops for various organizations.
Additionally, Kristin has been a dedicated varsity athlete throughout law school and her undergraduate education. She is the Captain of the Western Varsity Fencing Team and competes throughout Canada. Her contributions to the women’s sabre team have helped lead the team to two consecutive gold medal finishes at the OUA Championship. While competing for the McMaster Varsity Fencing Team, Kristin was a four-time Marauder Scholar and OUA Academic Achievement award recipient and was named MVP of the team in her fourth year.
During her free time, Kristin enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and coaching youth soccer. Otherwise, when she is not reading fiction novels she can be found training for her next fencing competition.
