Justin completed the Dual J.D. program at the University of Windsor and Detroit Mercy School of Law.
Prior to studying law, he received an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a
Master of Arts from McMaster University in Political Science.

During law school, Justin served as a student attorney at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law’s
Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic, where he assisted low-income, self-represented litigants with
their Social Security appeals before the Federal Court. He also completed a judicial externship with Chief
Judge pro tem Patricia Fresard of Michigan’s Third Judicial Circuit Court during his first summer of law
school. Additionally, Justin served as a teaching assistant for the first-year Comparative Legal Writing
and Research course and a research assistant to Dean Christopher Waters during the final two years of
his studies.

In his spare time, Justin enjoys playing tennis, talking Leafs, and exploring Toronto’s vibrant food scene.
