Julia Zanetti graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Queen’s University Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, Julia completed her Honours Bachelor of Arts degree at Western University with a double major in Political Science and Criminology, graduating with distinction. During her time at Western, she participated in a Democracy Lab thinktank where she worked in a team to complete research and present findings on political risk to expanding businesses internationally.

During her time at law school, Julia remained active in the law school community and beyond. In her first year, Julia was a student volunteer at Queen’s Legal Aid Clinic where she assumed carriage of a wide variety of legal files for low-income residents and students. Julia also worked as a student caseworker with the Queen’s Prison Law Clinic where she provided legal advice and representation to clients incarcerated at various institutions in the Kingston area.

Julia was also an academic tutor for law students and was a Group Leader for the Queen’s Law Orientation Program for incoming first-year students.
