Anish begins at Miller Thomson after completing the first two years of the Dual JD program at the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy. He is active in the law school community as an executive member of the Tax Law Society, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, and a moot court coach and competitor. Anish has coached teams to the finals of national competitions and placed first in both the Bowman National Tax Moot and the Zuber Moot. During the summer of his first year, Anish interned at the Third Circuit Court in Detroit for Judge Richard B. Halloran. In this role, he drafted bench memoranda on family law matters while thoroughly researching case records to ensure the most informed decisions were made.
Prior to law school, Anish received his Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from York University. He excelled academically as a member of the Dean’s Honour List and received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. He is most fond of his extracurricular roles as Peer Mentor and as President of the Moot Law Society.
Anish has also developed entrepreneurial experience while working with his family’s electronic retail business. He created and managed an e-commerce website that serves customers across North
In his spare time, Anish enjoys dog sitting, trying new food, playing basketball, and is an avid Toronto Raptors fan.

Throughout law school, Anish has been a member of Community Legal Aid. As a case-worker and litigator, he has assisted numerous individuals in landlord-tenant disputes, human resource claims, and criminal defense matters. He has managed cases from their intake to closing and has litigated proceedings at the Ontario Court of Justice. Anish enjoys offering his time to assist the underprivileged and marginalized individuals in the Windsor community.
