We deliver dynamic solutions in all facets of business law and are uniquely pan-Canadian, offering services in more business centers in the country than any other national firm.
Our Intellectual Property (IP) Specialty Group continues to grow its practice and we are seeking an energetic, team-oriented and entrepreneurial associate with experience in IP prosecution and IP aspects of corporate and commercial transactions for our Toronto office.

The successful candidate will be involved in IP drafting and prosecution work and, for transactional matters, will be involved in IP due diligence, reviewing & drafting IP representations, warranties and other IP terms in corporate documents, post-closing IP activities, reviewing IP security interest agreements, and drafting IP licenses and assignments.
The successful candidate will have:
- 4-5 years IP experience, with a mix of both patents and trademarks
- An interest in or a background in corporate transactions
- Excellent academic credentials
- A license to practice in Ontario
- IP agent qualifications (or agent training)
- Proven client management skills
