Biography description

Guillaume Rioux’s primary specialty is Labour & Employment. He advises public- and private-sector clients from a variety of backgrounds and industries on individual and collective labour relations matters, representing them before labour law tribunals and courts of general jurisdiction.

Guillaume leverages his extensive labour and employment law and litigation experience to provide clients with comprehensive support. His expertise enables him to anticipate issues, offer clear, accessible, and results-oriented advice, and deftly defend clients’ interests with strategic and practical solutions tailored to their needs.

Guillaume helped represent clients’ interests in various legislative reforms, including by preparing and filing submissions on the Labour Code and the reform of the Act respecting the protection of persons whose mental state presents a danger to themselves or to others (P-38).

He also participated in special consultations and public hearings on Bill 101, An Act to Improve Certain Labour Laws, at the Quebec National Assembly.
