Overview
Craig Savoie is an active member of Miller Thomson’s Litigation Group with a focus on Civil Litigation. Craig provides pragmatic advice and counsel to address clients complex litigation matters.
Craig earned his J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan, College of Law in 2021, and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2023. Upon completing his legal education, Craig articled at a boutique law firm in Fort McMurray, Alberta where he managed a busy practice consisting of Civil, Criminal, Family, and Estate matters. Craig made regular appearances at the Alberta Court of Justice and Alberta Court of King’s Bench to advocate on behalf of his clientele.
Throughout his early career, Craig was able to quickly distinguish himself as a diligent and detail oriented litigator and gained invaluable experience managing client expectations and negotiating with opposing counsel while protecting his clients’ interests. Craig has had the opportunity to work with clients spanning diverse industries and backgrounds, and has developed his expertise within conducting thorough legal research, drafting persuasive motions, and trial preparation. With a keen ability to analyze complex legal issues and strategize appropriate courses of action to achieve favorable outcomes, Craig is valuable support to clients.
Prior to relocating to Regina, Craig was involved in his community by volunteering at a free notary clinic organized through the Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo, and held a board position for Fort McMurray KidSport. Now, Craig is keen to get involved with the Regina community, focusing on supporting and driving impact within organizations that work to promote mental health awareness, develop leadership opportunities for youth, and create accessibility for community sports.
