Overview
Bailey Sprout is developing a broad corporate law practice, with an emphasis on securities and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. She has experience assisting in a range of areas including private placements, public and private transactions, securities regulations, financings, and reverse takeovers.
Bailey was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022 after completing her summer and articling terms at Miller Thomson LLP.
Bailey obtained her J.D. from Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where she was extensively involved in the Queen’s Law community and legal clinics. Bailey completed her undergraduate degree at Wilfrid Laurier University where she obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration. During her time at Laurier, Bailey was enrolled in the co-operative education program, where she had the opportunity to work at a global financial institution and a mid-sized Canadian distributor.
