Mark Kok (pronounced \u201cCoke\u201d) has a robust practice focused on condominium management & governance work as well as real property and land development law. He also has a growing practice in relation to mortgage enforcement and related work. Mark works out of the London office of Miller Thomson LLP.
Mark has been representing land developers in Southwestern Ontario since 2007. He assists clients through every stage of condominium and subdivision development, from acquisition to sales. Mark is known for his attention to detail and concise approach, simplifying complex processes to save time and increase efficiency. His experience covers both residential and commercial projects, including all forms of condominium registrations and conversions.
In his condominium management practice, Mark works with condominium developers, boards, managers, and unit owners to help them create and maintain thriving communities. He has a broad governance practice in which he helps his clients understand and work through complex condominium issues, including corporate organization, document interpretation, enforcement, enacting rules and by-laws, various kinds of agreements, and conflict resolution.
In his condominium management practice, Mark has particularly focused on condominium lien work. The enforcement aspects of that practice have led him to develop an adjacent practice in mortgage enforcement. Mark\u2019s clientele includes a number of private lenders who are navigating very challenging times in this industry.
Mark\u2019s journey includes eight years as a police officer before delving into the practice of law, resulting in a unique blend of experience and skill. He started his legal career at mid-sized firms in Kitchener, Ontario, before co-founding Clifton Kok LLP in 2007.
