Hiba returns to Miller Thomson as an articling student after first joining the firm as a summer student in 2023. Hiba also completed a summer placement with a provincial administrative body in 2024 where she gained valuable exposure to workplace-related matters.<\/p>\n
Hiba obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta in 2025. During law school, she was named to the Dean’s List and received several awards, including the Faculty of Law Undergraduate Scholarship, the Howard T. Emery Scholarship, and the Family Bar Diversity and Equality Award in Law. Hiba was also an active member of the law school community. She served on the Editorial Committee of the Alberta Law Review<\/em>, acted as Chief Tribune for the University of Alberta Students’ Union Discipline, Interpretation, and Enforcement Board, and competed in the National Family Law Negotiation Competition.<\/p>\n Prior to attending law school, Hiba completed her Bachelor of Arts degree with First Class Honours in Psychology.
