href=\"http:\/\/docs.legassembly.sk.ca\/legdocs\/Bills\/29L1S\/Bill29-603.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bill 603<\/a>, which would amend <em>The Saskatchewan Employment Act<\/em> to provide for paid sick leave.&nbsp; If the legislation passes, employees would be entitled to paid sick leave of up to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10 days in a 52 week period; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>14 days in a 52 week period when a state of emergency related to a communicable disease has been declared pursuant to subsection 17(1) of <em>The<\/em> <em>Emergency Planning Act<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Bill 603 has only received First Reading.&nbsp; We will monitor the progression of this legislation and provides updates as they
