Each of Miller Thomson\u2019s offices hires first- or second-year law students for our summer programs, depending on the needs of the particular office. Each office also hires articling students. We look to our students as our main source for future growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The rotation system at Miller Thomson ranges from formal to informal, depending on the size of the office. The goal in all our offices is to provide students with optimum exposure to the diverse areas of law practised at the firm. While students are encouraged to explore all areas available to them, our program is flexible if a student has a specific interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Miller Thomson does not have set hours targets for students. What we focus on is ensuring our students receive the best educational experience possible to enable them to move forward in their legal career with confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mentoring is an important aspect of a student\u2019s development. Each student has a partner or senior associate selected as his or her Mentor\/Principal. The Mentor\/Principal acts as advisor, guide, coach and teacher to create an environment in which learning and growth can occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
