John Israel Galambos<\/a> has returned to Miller Thomson\u2019s Montr\u00e9al office as a Partner in the Firm\u2019s Tax group, effective October 20, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than 20 years of experience, John focuses his practice on corporate and individual taxation, tax and estate planning, wills and trusts, corporate reorganizations, and asset protection. He regularly advises clients on a broad range of tax matters, including asset and share transactions, shareholders\u2019 agreements, and employee stock option plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

John is also frequently sought after to help resolve estate and shareholder disputes, bringing both technical precision and practical judgment to complex situations. His clients include high-net-worth individuals, private companies, single and multi-family offices, public institutions, private foundations, charities, and not-for-profit organizations. Before returning to Miller Thomson, he served as Co-Leader of the Family Office division (Quebec) at a major accounting firm, advising affluent individuals, family offices, and wealth advisors on sophisticated tax and succession planning matters. He now applies that expertise within Miller Thomson\u2019s Private Client Services group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
