On March 8, 2022, an affiliate of Balmoral Funds LLC (\u201cBalmoral\u201d) signed and closed on a definitive agreement to purchase Resco Products, Inc. (\u201cResco\u201d), a leading refractory manufacturer, from an affiliate of Wellspring Capital Management LLC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Balmoral is a Los Angeles, California-based private equity fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller Thomson advised the affiliate of Balmoral as Canadian counsel, alongside Vedder Price LLP as American counsel, on the transaction with a team comprised of Nadim Elkommos (Financial Services); Claudia Desjardins-Belisle (Employment); as well as Sylvie Marchand (Notary).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
