The proposed redevelopment and significant expansion of its operations is made in response to the ever-increasing waitlist of families and growth of the nearby Hospital for Sick Children (\u201cSickKids\u201d), which RMHC Toronto will continue to support by receiving up to 2,400 families per year who require short-term accommodation \u2013 over double its current capacity.<\/p>\n<p>RMHC Toronto is one of Canada\u2019s most recognized not-for-profit organizations, providing short-term accommodation and related services to families with children being treated nearby in Toronto\u2019s world-class hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>Miller Thomson is advising RMHC Toronto with a team comprised of Tara Piurko (Municipal &amp; Planning) and Sandra Luna-Martinez (Land Use Planner).<\/p>\n<p>Our Municipal, Planning &amp; Land Development Group helps developers, municipalities, and other public and private entities navigate the complex legal framework that regulates Canadian real estate.
