On April 13, 2022, Western Metallica Resources Corp. (formerly Orcus Resources Ltd.) (TSXV:ORCS.P) (the \u201cCompany\u201d) announced the completion of its acquisition of all the outstanding securities of Western Metallica Corp. (\u201cWestern Metallica\u201d), a private company incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario with mining assets in Spain.<\/p>\n
The transaction was completed according to the terms of an amalgamation agreement, pursuant to which the Company acquired all of the issued and outstanding securities of Western Metallica by way of a three-cornered amalgamation with a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company.<\/p>\n
In connection with the completion of the transaction, the Company\u2019s common shares commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new ticker symbol \u201cWMS\u201d on April 19, 2022.<\/p>\n
Western Metallica is in the business of mineral resource exploration and development, its principal asset is its 100% owned Penedela Gold Property in the \u201cNavelgas Gold Belt\u201d in Asturias, Spain.<\/p>\n
