This significant step for Waterloo\u2019s Affordable Housing Strategy is made possible in part by funding from the federal government\u2019s Housing Accelerator Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Founded in 1988, Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region is a charitable organization working toward a world where everyone has a decent place to live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BUILD NOW: Waterloo Region, an initiative led by Habitat Waterloo Region, is a modernization of Canada\u2019s wartime housing program, offering a combination of affordable rental and home ownership opportunities as a plan to help solve the national housing crisis. BUILD NOW is an ambitious housing project that aims to provide 10,000 units of missing middle homes across Waterloo region by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Miller Thomson advised BUILD NOW with a team comprised of Dwayne Kuiper\u00a0(Corporate &amp; Real Property), Michael L.
