On September 7, 2021, Starwood Energy Group Global, LLC (\u201cStarwood Energy\u201d), a private equity investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, announced its investment partnership with BerQ RNG Inc. (\u201cBerQ\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new platform operating under the name \u201cBerQ RNG\u201d and majority owned by starwood Energy, will enable both parties to develop and acquire renewable energy gas (\u201cRNG\u201d) projects in all stages, ranging from early development to operating projects. As part of the transaction, BerQ will contribute its projects, team and development expertise and Starwood Energy will contribute its existing farm-based RNG investments and fund the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in Oakville, Ontario, BerQ is a premier developer of renewable natural gas (“RNG”) projects in the United States and Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
