Pursuant to this acquisition, Desjardins has become the third largest shareholder of the company. Its new share capital will enable Avril\u2019s sustainability and expansion in the retail sector for the coming years. Avril specializes in natural, organic food, food supplements and natural cosmetics, and has approximately 1,200 employees and 10 locations across Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A subsidiary of Desjardins Group, Desjardins Capital is a fund manager that offers strategic and financial support to growing businesses and innovative start-ups in
