On February 28, 2025, Grey Bruce Telecom Incorporated and GB Tel Inc., a group of leading Canadian telecommunication companies based in Owen Sound, Ontario providing high-speed internet and phone services to rural areas within Grey and Bruce Counties since 2005, completed the sale of all of their issued and outstanding shares to EH!tel Networks Inc., a portfolio company of Windsor Private Capital, a leading Toronto-based private equity firm with a track record of strategic investments across multiple industries, including telecommunications, and throughout Southwestern Ontario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sale was subject to regulatory approvals from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, as well as approval from the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, among other customary closing conditions.
