(\u201c<strong>Varsteel<\/strong>\u201d) completed the acquisition of Pacific Steel Inc. (\u201c<strong>Pacific Steel<\/strong>\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pacific Steel was founded in the 1950s and has built a reputation as a trusted source for both fabricators and construction contractors. The company is a leading distributor of structural steel to large fabricators and service centers in eastern Canada and, for certain products, serves customers in the northeastern U.S. and throughout Canada. The company is a full-range supplier, fabricator, and installer of rebar used in construction markets. Pacific Steel serves its customers using two facilities in Laval, Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Varsteel is a leading steel and pipe service center and metal processor, with over 800 employees and 32 locations in western Canada and the United States.
