Kate Johnson

Biography description

Kate recently completed her second year of law school at the University of Victoria (UVic). Prior to law school, Kate earned a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction, majoring in Psychology at the University of British Columbia. During her undergrad, Kate played varsity basketball and achieved Academic All-Canadian status for her combined excellence in academics and athletics.

At UVic, Kate is the co-captain of the law school’s intramural basketball team and also participates on the intramural soccer team. Additionally, she volunteers as an assistant coach for UVic’s Vikes women’s basketball team and with Pro Bono Students Canada. During her first year of law school, Kate was a co-op student with the Small Claims Team at the Legal Services Branch of the Ministry of Attorney General.

In her spare time Kate enjoys going to the gym, getting outside and spending time with her friends and family.
