On February 5 and 6, 2018, lawyers from Miller Thomson’s Regina, Saskatoon, Montreal, Calgary and Edmonton offices attended the Renewable Energy Summit in Calgary. Chad Eggerman and Grant Sprague presented on the next steps in the renewable energy procurements in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Grant chaired a panel discussion on finance for renewable projects while Chad was a member of a panel on First Nation participation in renewables projects. Both Chad and Grant were also able to attend the First Nation Power Authority conference held the next day.
