Miller Thomson’s construction law practice already tops its class in Canada according to Best Lawyers which named Miller Thomson the 2018 “Law Firm of the Year” for expertise in Construction law. We are pleased to welcome two new lawyers in Saskatchewan adding to the strength of our team.

  • Derek Hoffman is a partner in our Saskatoon office and a corporate-commercial lawyer advising public, private and government organizations in a range of industries, including mining, energy, agriculture, technology and financial services.
  • Khurrum Awan is an associate in our Regina office with construction law experience in large, complex claims as well as mid-sized claims. He acted for a crown corporation in an arbitration arising from costs and schedule-delay claims in the construction of a large carbon-capture plant. He also defended the installers of two sanitary sewer pipelines in a claim alleging defective manufacturing and installation practices.
