William Francis provides services to family law clients. William has experience with child support & spousal support claims, complex property & equalization matters, custody & access conflicts, domestic contracts, settlement agreements, and various other family law areas. William's background in accounting is beneficial when dealing with financial issues and he is also sensitive to the personalized nature of many family law matters.
Whether completing written submissions or advocating on behalf of a client, William is committed to providing high quality representation. William helps clients understand the options and considerations relevant to their matter.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, William specialized in family law and practiced in other areas such as wills & estates and general litigation. William articled at a full service firm where he developed knowledge in an array of legal fields while working with various types of clients.
Before attending law school, William graduated from the Ivey Business School at Western University with an Honors Business Administration degree and accounting diploma. William worked in accounting at different media entertainment companies and then for a large forensic accounting firm where he aided in completing expert quantification reports for litigation and insurance matters.
