Overview
Tina Mtshiya practices personal injury and immigration law. She advises clients who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents, and assists with fatality claims, slip and fall claims, and medical malpractice claims. Tina advises Canadian and international clients on immigration matters such as spousal sponsorship's and appeals, work permit applications, study permit applications, express entry, provincial nominee applications, and LMIA applications. She also advises clients on permanent residence and citizenship issues.
Tina provides practical advice and counsel in a number of areas:
Motor vehicle accidents: assisting with fatal accident claims, catastrophic injury claims, and brain injury claims, and advising on motor vehicle accidents with uninsured or unknown drivers, motorcycle accidents, pedestrian accidents, and bus accidents.
Slip and fall: assisting with slip and fall claims on private property, as well as slip and fall claims on commercial business property including parking lots and supermarkets.
Medical malpractice: advising on failure to diagnose and treat life-threatening illness, perforation of body organs, pre-natal negligence, and negligence during labour and delivery.
Permanent residence: advising on inland and overseas spousal sponsorships, express entry, provincial nominee programs, parent and grandparent sponsorship, and sponsorship of adopted children and other eligible relatives.
Temporary residence: assisting with study permits, work permits, post graduate work permits, and visas for commercial public speakers.
Immigration appeals: appearing at the Immigration Appeal Division following the refusal of spousal sponsorships.
Cooperatives Litigation: represents various housing cooperatives with respect to civil enforcement issues and bylaw non-compliance.
