Susan Crisp is the Assistant Director, Legal Talent - Paraprofessionals. She is responsible for the oversight, mentoring, education, professional development, and overall management of the paraprofessionals in all Miller Thomson LLP offices. As a member of the Paraprofessional Management team, she develops, designs, and administers programs for training, mentoring, and developing the paraprofessionals in the firm. She works to create and foster a supportive and collaborative environment, which ensures prompt, efficient, and comprehensive client service. Susan works with practice group leaders and other shared services teams to establish and cultivate strong and enduring client relationships and provide high quality, efficient, and cost-effective client services.

Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Susan practised commercial and development real estate for over 20 years as a paraprofessional with another Bay Street law firm. She has over 25 years’ experience across Canada and in the United States with large project structuring, acquisitions, financings, dispositions, development, and insolvency matters, including intricate title issues and complex conveyancing. Susan has been involved in many significant projects, such as the Toronto Eaton Centre, the Gooderham & Worts Historic Distillery District, the Air Canada Centre, Maple Leaf Square, the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Project, and One York.
