Robert Kandestin is an insolvency and finance lawyer who practises in the areas of litigation, creditors' remedies, and commercial law. His practice has a special emphasis on banking, security perfection and enforcement, bankruptcy and insolvency, real estate, construction matters, shareholder disputes, and professional liability. Robert represents banks, insurance companies, private businesses, and individuals.
Robert has appeared before the courts at both the trial and appellate levels and has lectured extensively on technical matters relating to his fields of expertise.
He graduated with first class honors from McGill University Law School, where he obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 1977 and a Bachelor of Laws degree in 1978.
Robert is active in various professional organizations.
