Overview
Reema Mahbubani’s competition law practice consolidates her knowledge and experience from private practice and government to strategically navigate various aspects of competition law, including mergers and acquisitions, deceptive marketing practices, civil and criminal investigations, and regulatory compliance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Reema clerked and articled at a leading business law firm. While in the competition group, Reema worked on a variety of transactional and advertising matters. Upon completing her articles, Reema joined the Competition Bureau’s Deceptive Marketing Practices Directorate, where she investigated a variety of misleading advertising and marketing matters.
Prior to attending law school, Reema worked as an undercover investigator for a retailer where she investigated internal and external cases of theft and fraud.
