Overview

After completing her articling at Miller Thomson’s Montreal office, Myriam joined the firm’s Business Law group as an associate. Her practice focuses mainly on mergers and acquisitions, as well as transactional law and corporate/commercial law more generally.

Myriam is involved in all steps of the transactional process including due diligence, the drafting of related commercial agreements and the management of various closing matters. She has had the opportunity to assist clients in a wide array of industries, namely entertainment, technology, retail, food and beverage and professional orders and associations.

She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) at the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2018 and her Juris Doctor in North American Common Law (J.D.) at the Université de Montréal in 2022.

Myriam has always been actively involved in the community. She regularly assists in recruiting and mentoring summer and articling students, as well as new associates. During her studies, she founded several legal clinics and student committees and participated in many more, while also acting as a student mentor in several areas of law, including business law. She has also been involved with a Canadian not-for-profit organization dedicated to advocating for women around the world through education, entrepreneurship and energy procurement initiatives.

Myriam is bilingual in English and in French and speaks Italian and Spanish conversationally.
