Kelsey MacKay is a member of Miller Thomson’s Business Law group with a transactional practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, venture capital, corporate financing, M&A insurance, corporate governance and other general corporate/ commercial matters. Kelsey works with domestic and international clients at all stages of growth and complexity, from start-ups to private equity funds and multinational corporations. Kelsey’s practice involves assisting clients in a wide range of industries, and primarily in the technology and retail/ manufacturing industries.
Kelsey consistently advises clients on complex private and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions and provides ongoing support to start-up and emerging market companies. Kelsey also works with the transaction services groups for several insurers, acting as external counsel to the insurers underwriting M&A insurance policies in Canada.
Kelsey works closely with her clients to understand their business, operational and strategic objectives and provides legal advice in a manner that is clear, concise and business-minded.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson, Kelsey worked at a global law firm, where she focused on private and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations/ post-acquisition integrations and general corporate matters.
