Katherina has worked in corporate commercial law in British Columbia since 2004. Driven by the details, Katherina takes pride in providing innovative and focused solutions to assist clients with their corporate needs. She has a passion for the understanding of legal concepts in corporate and business law and is committed to collaborating with and providing support to all members of the team to serve the needs of clients.
She assists lawyers and clients in the preparation of corporate documents with respect to the tax-driven restructuring of corporate structures along with mergers and acquisition transactions. She also assists in a variety of other corporate law related matters, including incorporations, organizations, amalgamations, amendments and alterations, annual proceedings, continuances, dissolutions, restorations, extra-provincial registrations, name changes, redemptions, dividends, doing business names, and other relevant regulatory matters.
Prior to joining the team at Miller Thomson, Katherina worked as a paralegal in corporate law for a boutique law firm for over 10 years which has provided her with experience in legal and administrative duties in relation to corporate transactional and regulatory matters. She has over 19 years of experience in the legal field in British Columbia.
