Joshua Rim is building a broad business law practice focusing on the areas of corporate law, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. He has experience assisting on a range of transactions including public and private acquisitions, public offerings, and debt and equity financings. He also has experience advising clients on their ongoing public disclosure and corporate law obligations.
Joshua obtained his J.D. from Queen's University in 2020. During law school, he worked as a research assistant on projects examining shareholder activism in Canada and the application of artificial intelligence to dispute resolution. Joshua also competed as an oralist in the 26th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. He received his Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in finance from the University of Calgary in 2016.
Joshua joined the firm as a summer student in 2019 and completed his articles with the firm in 2021.
