Dauphine Dunlap is the Manager of Conflicts and Risk Management at Miller Thomson. Working closely with the firm’s General Counsel, Dauphine provides advice and guidance to other lawyers on matters related to risk management, conflicts of interest, ethics, compliance and professional responsibility. Fluently bilingual, she works in both official languages.
Alongside her work, Dauphine is an active member of the New York Bar’s Social Media and New Communication Technologies Committee, where she works with fellow committee members on presentations and published guidelines which provide guiding principles for lawyers and judges on the legal and ethical challenges associated with social media and new technologies. Dauphine enjoys presenting to a variety of audiences on topics related to risk management, conflicts, ethics and associated questions pertaining to social media and technology.
Prior to working in-house at Miller Thomson, Dauphine was an in-house lawyer with a global law firm. Before working in-house, she practiced in civil litigation and corporate/commercial law and also worked in politics. She is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Bar of the Province of Ontario.
