Cristina has more than 20 years of experience assisting lawyers with real estate matters including commercial purchases, sales and mortgages. Currently, she assists lawyers with reviewing title searches and off-title searches, drafting requisitions and preparing conveyancing documents.
Cristina also has a comprehensive understanding of judicial and extra-judicial mortgage enforcement procedures having assisted lawyers with hundreds of power of sale transactions, from initiating processes to post-closing surplus reporting. At her previous law firm, she assisted lawyers with the management of the mortgage recovery portfolio of a prominent institutional lender in Ontario.
Before joining Miller Thomson, Cristina was employed by a boutique real estate law firm in Vaughan from the time of her graduation as a Legal Administrative Assistant from Humber College in 1995.
