A lawyer and holder of an MBA, Caroline Dussault works in close cooperation with Miller Thomson’s various practice groups in order to optimize service delivery to all our clients. Her excellent analytical skills, her rigour and her active listening have enabled her to build a relationship of trust with all stakeholders. Caroline also sets herself apart by managing her files proactively and by providing outstanding client service. Caroline is dedicated to improving existing processes and convinced of the value of intellectual capital, Caroline focuses her efforts mainly on legal project management and knowledge management.
Caroline’s practice includes needs assessment, planning, budgeting and all required follow-ups with an eye for efficiency and transparency. Caroline implements tools which facilitate the transfer of know-how at firm level. These initiatives enhance the efficiency of our lawyers and help in the sharing of best practices.
She has dedicated an important part of her career to labour law and administrative law. In the course of her practice, she pleaded before several judicial and administrative tribunals, and has also developed a thorough understanding of the various challenges faced by employers and employees. Furthermore, her previous work experiences at both a boutique firm and a major law firm enabled her to acquire far-reaching knowledge of the legal community.
Her recent Master of Business Administration has enabled her to gain a better grasp of the challenges and needs of the various departments of a corporation. Such a strategic vision gives her an informed perspective on the various mandates to be undertaken and represents a valuable asset to carry out her current responsibilities.
Between 2018 and 2019, she served as Director, Communications and Sponsorships for HEC Montréal CRS Challenge (corporate social responsibility). The CRS Challenge is a case study international competition which attracts more than 200 MBA students and business leaders. Through a cohesive strategic vision and hard work, Caroline’s team exceeded all of its objectives and made this event successful.
