Aman Dhesi is an active member of Miller Thomson’s Corporate/M&A group. He collaborates with other team members to ensure that clients’ corporate matters are handled effectively and efficiently. Aman is passionate about helping clients and prides himself on providing practical, easy-to-understand advice.
Aman graduated from the University of British Columbia’s Peter A. Allard School of Law. He joined the firm in 2015 as a summer student and completed his articles with the firm in 2017. While at law school, Aman volunteered with a number of extra-curricular organizations. Most notably, he served as the Vice-President of the South Asian Law Students’ Association. Prior to law school, Aman obtained a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of British Columbia.
Aman helps clients with a wide variety of corporate and general business matters, particularly in the areas of:
Corporate and M&A: acting in the sale or purchase of businesses, transfers of shares or assets, and corporate reorganizations.
General business matters: providing general corporate governance counsel, and assisting with incorporations, share capital alterations, the drafting of shareholders’ agreements and partnership agreements, and the drafting, negotiation and review of major business contracts.
