Alicia MacNeil maintains a general civil and commercial litigation practice. Alicia has a particular interest in contractual disputes, insurance law and estate and matrimonial disputes. Alicia has experience drafting pleadings, legal opinions, court applications and briefs.
Alicia obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2019, graduating with distinction. During her time at the Faculty of Law, Alicia was involved in the Civil Project of Student Legal Services and volunteered as a student mentor.
Prior to attending law school, Alicia obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Distinction majoring in Psychology at the University of Alberta. While completing her undergraduate degree, Alicia spent her time as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters. She was also involved in research at the Alberta Hospital.
Alicia remains actively involved in the Edmonton legal community, serving as a volunteer with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program and the Court of Queen’s Bench Amicus Program.
