Aimee Halfyard is a Partner in the firm’s Business Law Group, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations private placements and and other corporate commercial transactions. Aimee represents Canadian and US Private equity firms, start-up companies in a variety of industries, including technology, energy services, health and transportation. Aimee’s experience includes domestic and cross border transactions.
Aimee is a trusted advisor to her clients, working with them to provide sound legal advice that balances the priorities of business opportunities against legal risks.
Prior to joining Miller Thomson Aimee spent almost four years in–house as Associate General Counsel at a natural gas fuels company and prior to that she was a member in the business law group at national and international law firms.
