We’re proud to announce Susan Manwaring is among the winners of the 2019 Lexpert Zenith Awards. This year’s awards celebrate Change Agents in Law, honouring the individuals who have made changes to the legal profession and to thought leadership.
Susan leads Miller Thomson’s National Social Impact Group and is a recognized change agent in the evolution of social finance. She has assisted organizations to design innovative structures, identify and unlock creative sources of revenue, lay the groundwork for social investments, and navigate a changing landscape of regulatory and financial risk. She has also been invited to appear before the Senate Special Committee on the Charitable Sector on several occasions, speaking on topics ranging from the impact of public policy on charities and not-for-profits, legal and regulatory challenges, to new sources of funding for the sector such as social finance and social enterprise.
